For the casual mechanic, buying specialist bike tools can be expensive. To take some of the cost out of working on your own rig, here is a list of tools available to borrow from other Club Members.

1 -Park Tool stand - borrow from central Ilkley. Contact: Andy on 0756 303 6948.
2 - Concealed electric motor - invisible to the naked eye, yet will get you to the top faster than your mates. Only available to borrow on days with no Grand Tour. Contact: Tadej on 07789 123 456.
3 - Park Tool Precision Pedal Taps - 9/16" left and right taps. Perfect to clean up your crank's pedal threads prior to fitting now pedals or recutting the thread if it has been damaged. I also have various small metric taps if any other threads are damaged. Ask. Contact Alastair 07944 129222 Central west Ilkley.
4 - Cyclus 1" Thread Headset Tools. Mainly used to replace a headset on older frames. Headcup remover, headset press, crown race fitting and removal tool. Supposedly works with 1 1/8" threaded headsets although I have not tried it. You will also need a heavy hammer to whack out the cups.
