Tour de Manc

Four great routes to choose from in this year's edition of the Tour de Manc sportive - 60km, 100km, 165km and the massive Mad Manc 201km (with over 3k metres of climbing)

All four routes set off from the Bowlee Community Park in Middleton (M24 4SD) with the two longest both starting from 07.00 and the two shorter ones from 08.00 and 09.30.

The shortest - the Northern Quarter route - is aimed at new cyclists who want an achievable ride, but it still tackles a couple of tough hills.

The Tough Challenge route at 100km with 1550 metres of climbing will challenge the fit occasional rider, while the Classic Manc at 165km and 2150 metres of climbing is an epic challenge, not for the faint-hearted.

All routes have feedstops - one, three or five depending on distance - and all will be clearly marked with directional arrows. There'll be mechanics at some of the feedstations, as well as a mobile mechanic for the second half of the longer routes.

Entry fees are £45 for the three longest routes and £35 for the shortest.

The organisers are committed to widening participation in the Tour de Manc to create a sportive that is enjoyed by cyclists of differing abilities, ages and ethnicities.
