The ultimate Dales challenge ride - nearly 12,000ft of climbing over 110 miles - but with low gears and the right preparation, it's a grand day out.
In the words of Simon Warren "This Yorkshire sportive is harder than the legendary Fred Whitton - I should know, I've ridden both"
But if you're not quite ready for the big one, there's the Gold Etape taking in some of Yorkshire's finest scenery in a 72 mile ride, with a mere 5,400 ft of hills.
And finally, if road riding isn't your thing, there's a 59 mile Gravel Etape on mostly good gravel tracks with expansive views over the Dales.
All routes start from Horton-in-Ribbledale, BD24 0HT and road routes set off between 07:30 and 09:00, while the gravel riders leave betwen 08:30 and 09:30.
Tickets for the road routes are at discounted prices until the end of April:
Long route £45; short route £35. After end-April they go up by £5
The Gravel Etape entry fee is £50
